My Car Accident

By Michael Kirkham

When my brother and I were going back to my dad’s house, my brother and I were playing our Gameboy Advance’s. When all of a sudden, "Boom!" My dad’s car crashed.

The airbags went off. It was smoky. Luckily, my brother and I were in the backseat. My brother and I were coughing from the smoke. We got out of the car.

Someone got two blankets and put them on the ground and told my dad to lay down. He put his head on the two blankets. Somebody called 911. My dad got a little cut. Neither my brother nor I got hurt. The ambulance, firetruck, and police came. My brother kept telling people we were in that car.

When the car hit the other car it surprised me. I felt like I wanted to go back to my house with my mom. I didn’t talk much that day. When I got home I asked my mom, "Could I play ‘Sorry’?"

Then my brother’s mom called and told my mom that I was in a car accident. A couple days later I went to the doctors to see if I was hurt, which I wasn’t.

That was my first car accident. I hope I’ll never ever be in a car accident again.
