Pasta Bravo

One time I ate at a place called Pasta Bravo, in Mission Valley. Pasta Bravo is a cool restaurant to eat at on a hot day, because it has a nice restaurant patio. The food was exquisite, and when I placed my order and ask for a large soda to go with it, the cashier gave me my soda for free! I also ordered a side portion of anchovy Caesar salad. It was so tasty and delicious, I knew it was a good sign.

Now while I was eating my salad, my mom was at a job interview upstairs in a wedding dress shop called Brides by Damitrios. My mom was interviewing there because her present job was unstable.

The boss at Damitrios is named Annie and she is the most passionate person I know. Annie told my mom to come back that Wednesday. My mom came downstairs after her interview, and we went home.

Next Wednesday my mom went back, and Annie told my mom she got the job. When my mom told me the news I was excited! I was so happy for her, because now, if she were laid off at her present job she would have another job to support us. I had a good feeling.

Soon my mother’s other job laid her off, and they stopped our insurance. But we are still good. My mom works at Damitrios now. Without Damitrios we would’ve been lost. All the girls who work there are so loving about my mom and I, and they are so fun. I thought that this was a blessing from God. My mom will be there for a long time.
