Slametan:
Celebratory Feast from Indonesia

Our department study about slametan lead us to Indonesia. Our "Slametan" presentation at the Museum School took place on Wednesday , March 3rd, 2000, at 11:00 am. We learned that a salamatan is a very special meal and party to commemorate an occasion or to gather a community together.
