If you are a surfer definately take a wet suit becuase their are giant waves. In winter you should take a lot of warm clothes. For instance a lot of warm socks and long underware, warm shirts, long sweat pants and other warm clothes. While coming to Mexico bring something to entertain you, such as for the kids, maybe a coloring book and crayons. For adults, maybe bring a book or two.

From doing research on the internet I found out how much it costs for one adult round trip ticket from Los Angelous to Mexico City: Leaving on January 3, 2000 and coming back Friday, February 9th these are the prices it will cost: $443, $439, $413, and $300. Mexico City is 1,440 miles away from San Diego.
If you think that flying is too expensive, you could drive. It will take 30 minutes to travel to Tijuana by car which is about 30 miles south of San Diego. You can also take the trolley to the boarder and walk across into mexico.
