Maria Hunt helped us make this recipe. She brought fresh lemons from her aunt's tree. It sure tasted sour, but it was good!


Red Lemonade
(Makes 6 servings)
Juice of 7 lemons
1-1/2 cups of sugar
1 quart of water
1-1/2 2 pints fresh raspberries or
16 ounces of frozen, unsweetened raspberries, thawed
1 cup water
Fresh mint sprigs or lemon or garnish


Combine lemon juice , sugar and 1 quart of water

Puree berries, place in a bowl and cover with the cup of water. Strain berries through a sieve by gently pressing them with the back of a spoon.

Mix strained raspberry juice with lemonade and additional sugar to taste.

 

Garish with fresh mint sprigs and/or lemon slices.
