Cooking For Juneteenth

On June 21st, Maria Hunt, a food critic for the San Diego, Union Tribune came to talk to our class about being a writer and also gave us some information about foods eaten during Juneteenth celebration.

 

Here's a recipe for Red Lemonade that Maria Hunt made with us.

She also taught us to make Sweet Potato Pie.
