Passports
Hi, my name is Xochitl and I am in the travel department. The people in the
travel department are Julian, Carmela, Elijah , Colton, and Me. I'm going to
tell you what you need for your trip and what the weather is like. The first
thing you need before you get an airplane ticket to Japan is a passport. You
can get a passport at the post office. A passport costs about $50.00 and $90.00
for a rush passport. It takes 3 to 5 days to get your rush passport. We are
going to get the rush passport. Now, I'm going to tell you about the weather.
Todays weather is sunny and hot. I hope we have a good trip.
Hotel
Hi, IÕm Carmela and I'm going to tell you about hotel and maps in Tokyo. First
you should get a safe and clean hotel. The name of the hotel I looked up is
Keio Plaza Inter Continental ,and the amount to stay in the hotel is 24,000
yen, (Elijah will tell you how much it costs in American dollars later.) Second
of all you should have a good map of Tokyo, and a good map
of Japan,(click to see a map of Japan) just in case you want to look around
in other parts of Japan. Use those 2 steps and youÕll have a good, safe, and
easy-to-find vacation!

Hi, my name is Elijah and I will tell you about Japanese money. Japanese money
is called yen. Did you know that one dollar in American money is one hundred
nine yen? That is a lot of money. When Carmela told me that 24,000 yen is the
price of the hotel per night, I thought that if I gave the person that owns
the hotel 220 dollars in American money. And after ten days I gave him 2,200
dollars in American money, the cost of the whole amount of my hotel bill is
$23,517.70. That's sure a lot of money!
People Mover
Hi, my name is Colton. I'm the one who found information about the rental cars.
I'm going to tell you information about the rental car I chose. The car is called
people mover. It holds 8 people and were taking 7 people. The cost of the rental
car is $ 765.00 total for 10 days. You have to have a driver's license to drive
the car. We need the rental car to get around.
Restaurants
I also did some research on restaurants. We are going to eat at sizzlers. The
kind of foods you might eat in Japan are sushi, miso chicken, miso soup, white
steam rice, salmon roll. The cost of 1 meal is about 4,200 (yen). The cost of
that meal with a American money is $39. The whole meal for 1 person cost 126,000(yen).
In American money that is $1,170.
