Dear Parents,

Thank you for helping us through our budget constraints. We realize that this is an extensive list. We hope that you will support our efforts in providing the best education we can to our students, by helping us in procuring these items below and sending them to school with your child on the first day back.

Items for 1st through 6th grade:

1 Plastic toolbox or tub that fits in the desk (no more than 4 inches tall) labeled with student's name, which will house their math tools

1 TI -15 Calculator - for 3rd through 6th grade (does fractions and shows work).
1 TI- 8 Calculator -for kinder through 2nd grade --check on line for the best price ~$17.00. If you let us know, we can order on-line in bulk and save you a little money.

1 Compass (Helix recommended)
1 Retractable tape measure
1 Ruler with inches and centimeter
1 Deck of cards that may be relabeled for math games (or an EveryDay Math card deck)
2 retractable lead pencils (plastic is okay)
1 Personal pencil sharpener with shaving holder
1 box of colored pencils
1 pair of scissors
1 set of water-base color markers
1 notebook binder
1 box of crayons
1 USB jumpdrive (128 MB minimum)

4 plastic -2 pocket folder
1 Package Paper pocket folders
4 Report folder
4 Composition books (sewn -in binding, not spiral bound)
2 bottles of school white glue
4 Glue Sticks
6 Reams of white copier paper
4 Packages of Notebook Paper College rule
4 Package of #2 pencils
2 Packages of colored construction paper
(Also single color packages large sheet construction paper are greatly needed)

These items will also be collected for the community pool:

2 box of tissue paper & 2 roll of paper towel
Plasticware (forks, spoons)

Ziplock baggies (all sizes)

(We understand that this is a substantial list. Whatever items you can gather will be most greatly appreciated. If your are able to sponsor another student in need, any extra materials would also be appreciated.)
