Making shadow puppets is fun to do. The materials that you will need are: a piece of cardboard, a white piece of paper, a stick, a glue gun, a pencil, a pair of scissors, a puppet screen and a light.
First you need to get your white piece of paper and draw your character or your animal that you want to draw. Draw the picture to the size you want for your puppet. Then get the character that you drew on the white piece of paper, and trace it on to a big piece of cardboard. You should put it on a piece of cardboard because the cardboard is a very sturdy thing to trace a puppet on.
Then cut out your puppet that is now on the piece of cardboard. If the head and neck start falling over then you will have to find a thin but long piece of cardboard to hold it up by glueing it on to weak part to reinforce it.
Next, glue the stick to the character with a glue gun. But make sure you are careful so you donŐt burn yourself. After that, find a light source to make a shadow. You can make the shadow anywhere, on a wall or even on the ground. And you are done.
