On Monday, May 7th we took a bus downtown and visited where our school will be opening in September. It was very exciting because we could see where the door will be. We walked down by the harbor and saw the USS Midway and a memorial. Then we took a trip on the ferry and went over to Coronado. That was exciting. It was the first time some of us have ever been on a boat. We had our lunch looking at downtown across the water. Some of us explored the shore and found crabs, and seaglass. We flew kites and played under the palm trees. Some tourist took pictures with us and a few people commented on how well behaved we were. Our teachers were proud of us.
